Arisa Global was born after a need was seen to help American companies source products and services out of China. Since going to China for the first time ten years ago, company President and founder Gary T. Murphy stated that he has spent years developing a plan to “build a bridge between China and the U.S.” Murphy partnered with a well established sourcing company in Houston, Texas to form a rock solid China sourcing & consulting company.

Arisa Global was originally launched in Las Vegas, Nevada in early 2008. Murphy had his headquarters there until last year when he moved back to Houston, Texas to re-launch another business of his, GaryKnows Consulting www.GaryKnowsCo.com. Murphy is now running both operations out of Houston successfully. The Houston office of Arisa Global is open and excited about their many new orders in Houston!

Murphy brought on a new business partner, Daniel McGrew, to run their Las Vegas operation. The Las Vegas operation is humming along and ready for new business as well! Our Shanghai office is managed and run by local Houston businessman Gary Young and his team “on the ground” in China, led by Shanghai representative and Office Manager, Nancy Li.  Between Houston, Las Vegas and Shanghai, we have you covered!

The bottom line is this, thousands and thousands of companies in the United States are keenly aware that they must do business with and invest in China or they’ll be left behind in the business graveyard with those companies that did not follow the “Change or Die” philosophy. Your competition already has their products and materials sourced from China, Why don’t you? Luckily, we understand this and and know that it is quite typical for companies to not know the best way to begin the arduous process of doing business with China.

For example, there are many written and unwritten rules, laws, regulations, tariffs and taxes to worry about. Then there is the language barrier. You need to know the particular dialect of the province or city where you find the “right” factory… in China there are hundreds of different dialects used! We provide access to a network of pre-qualified China manufacturers as well as staff from our Shanghai office that comprises a quality assurance team which inspects factories and checks the status of our orders daily. AG has built solid relationships with hundreds of factories and companies in China. Our direct factory access to all types of flooring, marble and granite, solid surface, artificial stone, doors, fencing, sanitary ware, carpet, windows, all manner of fixtures, sculptures and building facades just scratches the surface of what China has to offer. We insist on “best-in-class” and U.S. quality standards.

While providing our sourcing and consulting services to a diverse client base, we have also provided translator & Asia trip and coordination services to many CEOs, Presidents, purchasing executives and other key staff wishing to tour factories in China.

Our staff at Arisa Global personally inspects the factories we work with to ensure safe working conditions and fair treatment of workers. We refuse to do business with factories that have frequent employee rights violations such as workers working with acetone without any eyewear or gloves, large numbers of underage factory workers, or employees working months at a time with no time off.

AG has taken the frustrations and disconnects out of the “China sourcing and importing” process. AG learned years ago of the trials and tribulations that American companies were experiencing when it came to finding the “right sourcing partner” in China and set out on a mission to create a seamless bridge to the Far East. As the President of AG likes to say, we are “Your Bridge to China”.
